Michael has spent decades wandering the wasteland, scavenging what he can find and selling it for a price, and it suits him just fine. He doesn't know his own last name, how old he is, or even where he was born. But Michael does know he's different, with unnatural powers at his disposal. And he's never met anyone else like him.
Now, Michael has found a strange machine that speaks in a forgotten language, supposedly giving directions to A-Ree-Yass-I - the mythical place where mankind's downfall began. And in the shanty town of Providence, Michael finds another surprise. Abi, the town sheriff, is different. Just like him.
